As to the last update Bellflower locomotive Works will continue to produce the Cricket MK11 Live Steam G scale that is assembled and parts made in USA.

With this in mind Bellflower Locomotive Works has been consulting vendors whose product is not only made in US but also keeps prices as low as possible.

I am now extremly proud to announce  that the first production run of 25
Crickets is going on and that I'm anticipating completion of this first run
in early to mid 2012. As to the price almost every part, material and labor
went up between mid nineties to 2011.

The new price of the Cricket is $795 plus shipping.I'll be contacting those who
are on the list as soon as I completed a few for delivery. (note: check services
for video link of parts being made and pictures).Thanks for your patience and consideration.

     WESTMINSTER LOCOMOTIVE WORKS is happy to announce the production rights of the Cricket MK II have been acquired by Mr. Arthur Ruiz of Bellflower, California.  Please check back at this website over the next few months for announcements on the Cricket's  return to limited production.

        I will however, continue to support my past customers and offer repairs and updates to the older Berkley Crickets for as long as possible.  I will also be working with Mr. Ruiz to help in the transition and will still be supporting my WLW and older BLW Crickets.
